About Me

Hi there!  I'm so happy you found me.  My name is Kimberly Champ, Owner and Photographer at K.Germaine Photography. 

 

I am from a small town in northern New Mexico.  Whenever I go back home, I love spending time with my family and being in the mountains.  There's a waterfall about an hour away from my parent's house.  It's almost tradition at this point to go up on the 4-wheelers every time I visit.  Nothing beats the scenery, the sound of the wind blowing through the aspens, and the smell of pine trees, especially after it's rained.

I moved to the Kansas City Metro area in 2011 and earned my MBA a few years later.  The first month after graduation was one of the longest months of my life.  This was the first time I had not been in school.  So, I decided to pick up a hobby.  I went out and purchased my first camera and lenses.  It was trial and error at first.  But, I soon learned my way around the camera and was even hired as a freelance photographer for one of KC's premier wedding photography companies.

  My goal as a photographer is to not only have my clients do all the traditional poses you'd typically expect, but to also create an environment that enables me to capture those fun and intimate moments.
